The Best Skiing and Snowboarding Eqiupment for the 2015/16 Season...

We looked at dozens of companies and compiled a list of products that will make your skiing and snowboarding trips the best they can be.

Head Venturi 95 skis are one of the most reasonably priced, highest-quality skis. They make skiing easy and enjoyable with. Their wood core, all-terrain rocker, allow vertical sidewalls allow skiers to take slow joyrides or go hardcore extreme, whether you're in deep country snow or on groomed resort trails. You can maneuver these stable skis like nobody's business.

Blizzard Bonafide skis are great for any mountain. Made from superior wood, metal, and the best vertical sidewalls, these skis will do what you want them to, whether it's floating along, or really digging in.  www.blizzardsportusa.com

Apex MCX-14 ski boots. Ski boots can literally make or break your trip if they're not comfortable. Denny Hanson, a leader in this field, has created a Modular Chassis design which combines the stabilizing hard boot shell with a soft snowboarding boot to bring you the most amazing, most comfortable boot, warmest we've tested. Their Boa Closure System allows you to make minor adjustments easily as you go through your day. When you're taking a break, you can pop out the inner piece so they're easier to walk around in. Don't leave these off your list.   www.apexskiboots.com

Blue Mountain Ski Resort: Best Local Skiing and Snowboarding in Pennsylvania by a Snowslide...

We love Blue Mountain Ski Resort. It's an awesome winter or summer destination that's nestled in Little Gap Valley alongside the Pocono Mountains, although we'll just focus on winter right now. Blue Mountain Ski Resort is our favorite ski/snowboarding resort. You can carve up the slopes, shred on terrain parks or tube with your family. Packed snow means packed fun.

Best Local Halloween Attractions: Last Weekend This Year...

Field of Terror... (fieldofterror.com)

Fill up your October weekends with haunted trails, haunted houses, wagon rides, and cornfields. This attraction is amazing. There are plenty of weekends to fill up in October, and there's not a more appropriate way to spend them. At Field of Terror, there are excellent attractions: a 6-acre walk through a haunted corn field, the Field of Terror Killer Kornfield; the Unknown Haunted Barn; the Zombie Attack Haunted Hayride; and Dementia 3D. All are great and here are more details:

The Zombie Attack Haunted Hayride...

This is a haunted hayride into the dark unknown. Being with a large group is so enjoyable. The ride is very long with lots of scary, surprising moments. Some are obvious... others aren't. The sets are nice and there's a cool "vortex tunnel," towards the end, a spinning tunnel.

Aruba: A Little Slice of Island Heaven...

If you want an almost 100% guarantee of sunshine (and who doesn't), Aruba is the place for you. This small, tropical island will envelop you in brilliant sunshine and caressing heat all year round. It does rain, but not very often or for very long. Even with its average 82-degree temperature, the winds are predictable and constant, blowing through as if they were sent just to keep you cool and comfortable. In the summer months, the water is so calm that you can float on your raft and barely move around. This also makes it perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling, since there is very little rain to affect the visibility. In the winter months, when the winds are strongest, sailing and windsurfing are perfect water sports to partake in. Most of the rain comes October-December but even then you will still get plenty of sun.

There as so many things to do in Aruba, or you can just do nothing at all. We do know that once you visit Aruba you will desire to come there for yearly vacations with your family because it will feel like a second home to you.

Disney, Universal, Sarasota, and Siesta Key: One Week of Fun in Florida...

Florida is always fun, almost no matter where and when you go. Hundreds of books have been written about visiting Disney World, Universal parks, and Florida beaches. Although there is no way that we could give you detailed information on everything there is to do and see, we wanted to provide you with this short, but sweet, version to give you a head start on your vacation planning. This was a great agenda, starting off with visiting the parks and keeping busy day and night, and ending off at a gorgeous beach, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Las Vegas: It's Not Just For Adults...

LAS VEGAS is a city full of excitement and loaded with so many places to see and experience. However, when you only have a few days to visit, it gets complicated as you try and decide on what to do with limited time. It's difficult choosing from hundreds of hotels, restaurants, and attractions, but we've gathered up a pretty good first-timer's list and hope you accept a few of our selections. As always, we couldn't feature everything we wanted to in complete detail, but this will give you a head start.
